Stop and Go

The Monday after Thanksgiving Andy headed back to Cheyenne, and then left again to go to Estes Park with the rest of the Element pastors. While Josiah and I stayed in Houston with the Stewart gang.
At Thakgiving we had some great family time. And almost everyone got to hold  josiah while he was so sweetly sleeping.
Papa and Uncle Dave
I didn't get as many pic with Josiah and Mimi and Papa as I would have liked.

Here are some picture of playing outside in the back yard.
It wasn't as late as it looks.
Black Friday is we took the kids to go get a picture with Santa, so they were in there Christmas outfits.
And then that night we opened gift from eachother. It was a very fun day!
Josiah and I are so Thankful that we got to have an extra week in Houston we had lots of fun.
After we got back on monday night we left Thursday afternoon to got visit all the Hazelet side to celebrate Christmas with everybody there. I don't have any pictures on my computer yet but I will soon.
Until next time!
Happy Holidays!

This year Andy, Josiah, and I were able to travel to Houston to spend Thanksgiving with my family. We got here on Monday and have really enjoyed the Holiday. Josiah met his cousins for the first time and they all are having lots of fun with one another.
When we first landed in Houston we were hit with the warm humidity, it is surprising how much different the weather is. We had to completely change our clothes when we arrived because when we left Cheyenne it was snowing. Here is the cutest little outfit we put on Josiah on Tuesday:

The first night we were here all the kids took a bath:
It was a little challenging to get them all to take the picture, but we eventually got a pretty good one!

I will post more about our trip later but for now I need to get some rest, Thanks all!
Love Aubrey

Hi again!

I really have been wanting to update this for a while, I keep sitting down to write a new blog and then I get sidetracked from doing it.
Josiah is growing all the time and his personality is developing more and more everyday. Last night he slept really well, he got a little messed up from the time change the two nights before now we are back on track.
We have had a lot going on since the last time that I had a post, October Andy and I were running trying to get everything done before November. What I mean by that is Andy out of town like every week this month.

For Halloween Josiah was a baseball player he looked so cute!

I was a soccer player, however since Andy is so busy on Sundays he didn't take a picture of me and Josiah together. But that is okay cause I didn't look nearly as cute.

That Sunday Andy went to Oregon for school so this weekend Josiah and I were so excited to hang out with him. You can tell on the boys faces that we were having a fun day with daddy:
And then right now Andy is in Montana, and we are expecting to have another fun weekend hanging out together.
Then only one more trip for Andy and then we will be going to Texas for Thanksgiving! I am so looking forward to that!
That is a little that has been going on lately! Hopefully I will get on here more often to let you know how we are doing.

Nursery!!

Josiah turned five weeks old yesterday! I know everyone always tells you that your baby grows so fast, however personally I couldn't imagine Josiah getting bigger. He has grown so much in the last couple of weeks, I am really curious to see how much he has grown, and how much he weighs. And I still can't imagine him growing any bigger than he is right now. He is such a delight, even though he is having a hard time getting much sleep at night.
Grandpa Paul made Josiah a crib and a dresser for the nursery and we have been planning to decorate with Dr. Suess. Time has just gotten away from us and the artist who has been trying to come over and draw the theme on the walls has been booked. So last weekend he came over and drew it all up and then Sabrina and Jamie have been working on painting it for us the last couple of days. It is looking great and coming together fast. Pretty soon Josiah will be sleeping back in his room, with the coolest walls ever.

Hopefully I will added the finished product soon!

Josiah Paul Hazelet
The first couple of days that Josiah was born Andy's (my husbands) family came to visit and meet the latest family addition.
This is who I was talking about in my first post.
My mother in law Janice came up first and got to see Josiah an hour after he was born.
Then my father in law Paul got to Cheyenne late that night.
Josiah is the first grand baby on the Hazelet side so it was so much fun that they got to see him the first day he was born.
Last week on Memorial day was my birthday, I turned 25. Oh man that is scary to think about. I had a GREAT birthday this year. My family came from all over to visit, my parents live in Louisana, my older sister Amber lives in Texas, and my younger bother Alex lives in Oklahoma. It worked out really nicely cause they came to see Josiah, and since us kids have really close birthdays we decided to celebrate our birthdays all together.

My hair was a wreck at this point cause it was getting pretty windy outside.
It was so nice to have almost everybody here. We were missing my brother in law Dave, and my beautiful nieces Julia and Lydia.
Thankfully we will see everybody in November.

Well Hello!

Today Josiah is three weeks old!
I have been absolutely amazed on how it feels to be a parent. Everyday is a new adventure, the love I have for this little guy is overwhelming. I am also shocked on how your gears change. You always hear that your life will change dramatically but you don't really know what that means until you are actually go through it yourself.
Josiah and I had a great day, he is starting to be more alert which is so fun. Just watching him learn and grow is amazing. We went to a friends house, watched a movie, and then came home and went on a walk.  Shortly after that Andy came home from some meetings, and Josiah enjoyed some daddy time. He loves hanging out with his dad. I know one thing for sure, Andy and I love being with him.
Tuesday we went to the doctor he has gained weight and he has gotten taller, he now weighs 8.4 pound and is 21 inches long. Josiah did really well at the doctors! He is healthy and doing very well YEAH!
I feel very blessed!
Well that is all for now. Hope you all have a great weekend!
